Match Preview: Ilkeston Town vs Bamber Bridge
The two-week break has done Jamie Milligan's side wonders, with two comebacks in a few days. Brig have found that never give up spirit.
With Harry Scarborough scoring both an equaliser and a winner, the man on loan from Chorley could be one to watch on Saturday.
This will be the first time we face Ilkeston Town. With the home side currently sitting in sixth place in the table, it will be a tough place for Brig to go. The Robins are currently unbeaten in their last three games, winning two and drawing one. Like Bamber Bridge, Ilkeston have found some form.
Jamie Walker has been in some superb form for Ilkeston this season, scoring ten goals in the Northern Premier Division, so Brig will have to be at their best to keep the striker from scoring.
In their 4-0 win over Lancaster City, Walker scored a hat trick, even though they were down to 10 men. So, the character of this Town team cannot be questioned because even when they go a player down, they can still find a way to win.
If Brig can win on Saturday, the team could move up to ninth in the league table if the results go their way.
Confidence is growing in this Bamber Bridge side with two impressive performances back-to-back. Milligan and his team will be looking to make it two wins from two and keep this unbeaten record going as long as possible.
