Bamber Bridge Reserves to return
Club announces the re-establishment of a Brig reserve team.
The club have today announced that Bamber Bridge Reserves will be return for the 24/25 Season.
Taking the helm of the second-string will be Louis Bonage and Andy Richards.
Both Louis and Andy are well known in local footballing circles. Louis has been manager of the very successful Sunday League side Bamber Bridge United for the last three years, and Andy is a former Brig Reserves player and has also played for Bamber Bridge Vets.

Subject to league approval, the reserves will be playing in the West Lancashire League from the start of the 2024/25 season.
Home games will be played at the SFC Stadium at Irongate.
Speaking of the announcement, Brig's Director of Football, Neil Crowe said:
"It's fantastic that we have been able to re-establish a reserve team for Bamber Bridge.
Both Louis and Andy are local lads and have a great knowledge of players in the local area so I am confident they can develop a strong side. Louis has been doing great things at Bamber Bridge United and I hope we can provide the opportunity for him to develop further as manager of the Reserves.
Having a second-string will also be a boost to the first team and we will have the option to give players game time who have been out through injury, and also provide us with a pathway for young and upcoming players. This is something we have been missing for a few years.
Also it will be great for the Brig supporters. Pitch permitting, home games will be played at The SFC Stadium on Saturdays when the first team are away, so supporters who cannot commit to some of the longer journeys we have in the Northern Premier League can still get their Brig fix.
It's the start of an exciting new phase for Bamber Bridge FC. Up The Brig!"
Further details will be announced once the league application has been confirmed.
