Welcome to Brig, Regan Riley

Regan Riley - Bamber Bridge RC

The dynamic midfielder is the first addition to Jamie Milligan's squad ahead of 26/27 campaign following his agreement to remain at Irongate.

Bamber Bridge have announced the signing of 23 year old box to box midfielder Regan Riley.

Riley makes the move to Irongate following his departure from Bury at the end of the 25/26 season.

Brig manager Jamie Milligan has made no secret of his desire to add athleticism and technical quality to the heart of his midfield, and Riley fits that profile perfectly.

Although only 23, he brings a wealth of experience gained at multiple levels within both the professional and semi-professional game.

A Bolton native, Riley started his football career at the age of 9 with his hometown club Bolton Wanderers Academy where he spent over a decade. Aged just 16, he made his full Wanderers first team debut against Tranmere Rovers in November 2019.

In the summer of 2021 he secured a move to Championship side Norwich City.  He spent three seasons at Carrow Road, regularly featuring in the Canaries Under 21 side.

Following his departure from Norwich in 2024, he returned to the North West to join Radcliffe, before signing for Bury in the summer of 2025, going on to make 26 appearances for The Shakers in all competitions.
