Three new signings for Brig!
Milligan starts the squad building ahead of the 24/25 Season.
Bamber Bridge manager Jamie Milligan has started strengthening his squad ahead of the new 24/25 league campaign.
The Brig front line will be bolstered by not one, but two new strikers.
Bailey Thompson has joined from NPL East Division side Pontefract Collieries, where he was 2nd highest scorer last season, hitting the net 13 times in 30 appearances. The 22 year old started his career at Tranmere Rovers and has also had spells at Guiseley and Hyde United.
Also joining the Brig strikeforce is Max Cane.
Max joins from local North West Counties side Darwen. Prior to joining Darwen mid way through last season, Max was in the NPL Premier Division with FC United of Manchester.
The third new signing is experienced midfielder Sidi Sanogo Fofana.
Spaniard Sidi has made the switch from Atherton Collieries, although he may be familiar to Briggers with a good memory as he had a short spell at Irongate in 2019.
The first chance to see the new recruits in actions will be during our pre-season friendlies which kick off on 6 July when the visitors will be Fleetwood Town. A full list of pre-season games is available here.
