PLAYER NEWS: Welcome to Brig Liam Brockbank and Will Squires
Defensive duo commit to Bamber Bridge for the coming season.
After spending pre-season on trial, the club have today confirmed that defenders Liam Brockbank and Will Squires have joined the Bamber Bridge squad for the 24/25 season.
Left back Liam Brockbank joins from National League North side Altrincham. His previous clubs also include Gloucester and Lancaster, and he spent the latter part of last season on loan at Warrington Rylands, making 12 appearances.
Brig's defensive line up is also being bolstered by the return to the SFC Stadium of centre-back Will Squires.
Squires in action against Wythenshawe
Will joins from Blackpool where he was a member of the U21 Squad. He's no stranger to the Bamber Bridge faithful, having previously had a successful loan spell at the SFC at the start of last season, which was cut short as he was recalled to make his first team debut for the Seasiders.
