Player News: Mullarkey-Matthews and Hasler-Cregg join Brig

B Hasler-Cregg and L Mullarkey-Matthews sign.

Two more signings ahead of the first home game of 24/25.

The club have confirmed that midfielder Lorenze Malarkey-Matthews and winger Billy Hasler-Cregg are the latest recruits to Jamie Milligan's side for 24/25.

Young midfielder Lorenze joins on a youth loan from Blackburn Rovers until January 2025.  

It's not his first stint at the SFC,  he also spent a month on loan with the club at the end of the 23/24 season, making seven appearances.

Ahead of tomorrow night's first home game against Hyde United, the club have also confirmed the signing of winger Billy Hasler-Cregg who joins from Colne.

Billy has already opened his Brig account this season, scoring for the Reserves in their 2-1 victory over Dalton United last Saturday.

Billy began his footballing career at Burnley before moving to Rochdale where he signed a professional deal in 2015.  He's also had spells at Ramsbottom, Droylsden and Altrincham.

Both players will be eligible for selection for Tuesday night's home game versus Hyde United.
