Match Preview- Worksop Town vs Bamber Bridge

After back-to-back wins with ten goals in total, Brig will be going to Worksop with confidence, knowing they can get a result.

Worksop are having a brilliant season in the NPL, currently sitting in sixth place just outside the play-offs. The hosts for Saturday's game have had a tough run of fixtures recently, drawing two and winning two in their last five games while losing to play-off rivals Marine (2-1).

The Tigers have goal scorers in abundance, with four players having more than 10 goals this season in all competitions. They are not short of firepower. Vaughan Redford is the club's top goal scorer with an impressive 16 this season, while Liam Hughes is only a goal behind with 15.

Meanwhile, Brig's goals have been flying in the past two games. With Danny Edwards finding the net again, he will be one to watch. The former Fleetwood Academy graduate has three goals in his last two games. Edwards will be looking to build on this momentum.

After his 50th appearance for the club on Tuesday, Harry Scarbrough will be looking to find the net again after scoring a brace against Lancaster City in the Lancashire Trophy quarter-final. However, the Chorley loanee was outdone on Tuesday night by Mark Cullen. The veteran was on fire when he came off the bench, scoring a hat-trick inside 18 minutes. Cullen will most definitely be looking to bring that confidence to Worksop.

Chris Churchman on the other hand, has been playing brilliantly in recent weeks. With the fullback being moved around the pitch in the last few games, both playing as a fullback and as a midfielder at times. Churchman got his reward against Lancaster with a bullet header after an Adam Dodd cross. The 28-year-old will be looking to find the net again this weekend.

Kick-off for Saturday's game at Worksop Town FC is at 3 pm. We hope to see as many of you as possible.
