Match Preview: Bamber Bridge vs Matlock Town
Brig are back in home action against Matlock Town.
After a heartbreaking late equalizer at Hyde United, Brig host Matlock Town at the SFC Stadium. Bamber Bridge will be looking to turn a corner this Saturday as Jamie Milligan's side currently have the most draws in the league, with 10. It's time Brig starts turning draws into wins.
Following last Saturday's draw, Brig will be looking towards Ewan Bange for the goals as the forward recently extended his loan at the club until early January next year. However, the forward will be available for Saturday's game after picking up a small knock against Hyde.
New loanee Lamine Toure will be making his home debut against the Gladiators; the defender is strong, aggressive, and sharp, with the 18-year-old having a promising debut away at Hyde United. He's a player who can give some stability and excitement to Brig fans.
Looking at Brig's opponents, Matlock has been in good form in the league. With only one defeat in their last six league games, they will be full of confidence coming to the SFC Stadium. A key person who loanee Toure will have to be switched on against is Jonathon Margetts, who has 23 goals this season, scoring a hattrick most recently against Hyde United.
With only four wins this season, a win this Saturday could be a turning point for Bamber Bridges season with the players not giving up. It's only a matter of time before Brig starts climbing the table.
