Match Preview- Bamber Bridge vs Atherton Collieries

Bamber Bridge will be looking to build on the impressive performance in the 3-1 victory over Morpeth Town at Craik Park last weekend, when Atherton Collieries visit the SFC Stadium. With goals courtesy of a Danny Edwards brace and a Jack Baxter dagger at the death securing all three points last time out.

Brig moved up to 13th in the Northern Premier League following last weekend’s victory, while this weekend’s visitors find themselves in 20th with 19 points, five from safety, with two games in hand.

Colls will feel hard done by to have only come away from Tuesday’s game against Radcliffe with more than a point. As they were leading 2-0 with five minutes left to play, before falling to a last gasp equaliser from the league leaders.

Both sides have won one of their last six league fixtures and last met back in September when Brig ran out 2-1 victors thanks to Macauley Wilson’s penalty and a last minute winner from Harry Scarborough at The Skuna Stadium.

Scarborough remains Brig’s top goalscorer so far this season, and he will be looking to add to his tally of seven, this weekend. Enoch Lusiama is Colls top scorer with eight and his last goal was scored in their 4-3 win over Marske Town at the beginning of the month.Sidi Fofana has made the most appearances for this weekend's visitors this campaign, with 31, as has Danny Edwards, who is Brig’s top appearance maker this season.
