Match Preview- Bamber Bridge vs Ashton United

After a hard-fought defeat in Monday's derby, Brig now turn their attention to play-off challenging Aston United.

The side currently sits sixth in the Northern Premier League and has been in good form as of late.

In their last nine games, the Robins have won six, drawn two and have only lost one.

Steve Cunnigham's team will come to the SFC stadium full of confidence, knowing they can get some important points to reach the playoffs.

A player to look out for on Saturday is Jason Gilchrist. The forward has 21 goals this season in all competitions and has been a handful for opposition defenders.

Brig, on the other hand, are looking for their first win since the Atherton Collieries game in March.

Monday saw a positive step as Michael Potts scored his first goal of the season while Harry Scarborough added to his tally this season.

Jamie Milligan's team currently sits 16th in the table, but a win on Saturday could see them move up to 14th.

Kick-off for the game is at 3:00 pm
