Chairman's Update
Club chairman provides an update on the restructure of the club committee.
Statement from Brian Ginty, BBFC Chairman
" The Club is pleased to welcome Dan Fergusson to Bamber Bridge FC.
Dan has a wealth of experience in fundraising and will be joining me as co-chair. This will be an interim arrangement prior to Dan taking the reins as sole chair in the future. His primary role will be to raise the profile of Bamber Bridge FC and to implement a robust financial plan to secure the long term stability of the club. To assist us in achieving this goal he will also bring with him his trusted team of accomplished business people and media personalities who all share a passion for football and have proven experience in fundraising.
Dan and his team will work closely with the current committee, volunteers and supporters to rejuvenate the Club and re-establish us as a major force in the non-league arena and within the local Community.
For many of you I appreciate that change is difficult to accept, but this decision has not been taken lightly and is the result of several months of negotiations and a significant period of getting to know Dan and his team.
This is an extremely exciting opportunity and I urge all connected with Bamber Bridge FC to get behind Dan and the team to help our club reach its full potential both on and off the field.
For interested parties we are planning an evening to meet Dan and his team in the very near future. A date will be advertised shortly.
