A Christmas message from Bamber Bridge FC
A Christmas message and fundraising update from the club.
The Club would like to wish all its supporters, sponsors and staff a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
On reflection it’s fair to say that 2024 has been a difficult year for the Club especially with regard to its financial position. As most you are aware the club felt the need to turn to you the supporters and general public to help us though the immediate difficulties and we set a target to raise £30K.
What a tremendous response we received by way of cash donations and offers of help! I’m pleased to report that the target we set has been achieved and is expected to grow from events planned in the future. In the main, the Go Fund Me raised over £17800 with the fireworks, fundraiser football match and bucket collections making up the remainder.
A special thanks goes to all who donated their hard-earned cash, attended or organised events.
Rest assured that the club committee is working hard to put us on a more stable financial footing. Not an easy task at this level of football but here’s looking forward to a more prosperous year in 2025. With your continued support I have no doubt that we can realise this ambition.
