Last gasp winner for K's
It was a warm 1pm kick-off, not as crazy warm as threatened and definitely nowhere near as lunatic as what is to come early next week, but it was a decently entertaining and competitive friendly match despite the temperatures on the 3g pitch at Holloways Park in Beaconsfield.
Ollie Cook, Shane Cojocarel and Louis Collins were faces who weren't at Imber Court on Tuesday for the 3-1 reverse against Metropolitan Police as K's continued their early steps into the new season.
The winning goal came practically with the last kick of the game when Tuesday's goalscorer, Stephane Bombelenga, snatched a winner in this most even of contests with a fine strike in the 94th minute. Beaconsfield Town had time to kick-off and that was that.
As currently scheduled, Kingstonian will be away to Raynes Park Vale on this coming Tuesday night for a 7.45pm kick-off.
Kingstonian first half: Rob Tolfrey, Isaiah Jones, Geneiro Maragh, Jack Strange, Ollie Cook, Simon Mensah, Fumnaya Shomotun, Kenny Beaney, David Lopes, Shane Cojocarel, Kieron Cadogan.
Kingstonian second half: Matte Pierson, Isaiah Jones, Jack Strange, Fumnaya Shomotun, Kenny Beaney, Louis Collins, Stephane Bombelenga, Kwesi Ntim, Thomas Gogo, Jordan Wilson, Lewis Pearch.
Second half subs: Iker Noguera Leon, Cerny Ando and Jonathon Gjoshe replaced Isaiah Jones, Jack Strange and Fumnaya Shomotun after 60 minute.
Goal: Stephane Bombelenga (90m+4, 0-1)
