Tonbridge Angels 2-1 Kingstonian

Tonbridge Angels from the National League South claimed a late victory over Kingstonian in a friendly match at the Longmead Stadium.

The Angels opened the scoring in the 43rd minute when Jason Williams scored from close to the penalty spot under pressure from Jerry Puemo. K's began to create more chances in the second half and deserved their equaliser when in the 75th minute substitute Corie Andrews latched on to an Elliott Buchanan cross and headed home.

However, the home team would win the game in the 89th minute when a shot from A Trialist was well saved by Rob Tolfrey, but Ben Greenhalgh netted the rebound.

K's are next in action on Wednesday night for their second visit of pre-season to the Parkside Stadium in Aveley, but this time around the hosts are Grays Athletic for a 7.30pm kick-off. Covid-19 details will be in Simon Grier's preview that will go on this website as soon as possible.
