Grier's guide to Haringey
When: Saturday 13 April, 3.00pm kick-off
The town: Haringey Borough play in Tottenham, best known globally as being the home of their near neighbours Spurs.
The ground: Coles Park Stadium, White Hart Lane, London N17 7JP. The main stand is well-elevated giving a good view over the pitch and there's a covered terrace alongside it. There's not so much on the other three sides of the ground though. Haringey have a 3G playing surface.
Directions: Yes, it's the White Hart Lane that Haringey play on, and with Spurs hosting one of their first games in their long-awaited new ground at 12:30, there could potentially be a big impact on traffic and parking. The ground is close to the North Circular, where Saturday afternoon traffic is horrendous at the best of times. So public transport is probably the better option - head to Wood Green on the Piccadilly Line from where it's a short ride on the W3 bus or a walk of just over a mile along White Hart Lane.
Our record there: This season is the first that our paths have crossed and we'll be hoping to do better than we managed at King George's Field, where Borough beat us 4-0. In 1965 we visited White Hart Lane to play what was presumably not a first choice Spurs XI in the London Challenge Cup, drawing 1-1 before losing the replay at Richmond Road a week later.
Recent form: At the start of the year it was looking like this could be a title six-pointer, as Haringey were top of the league with Ks in second. It will now be nothing of the sort as Borough have slipped 11 points behind Dorking Wanderers and are hanging on to second place, while we have fallen away even more spectacularly.
Players to watch: Their recent form hasn't been helped by the departure of Ralston Gabriel to Boreham Wood after scoring 13 goals in 14 games over the winter but Joel Nouble is still there and is the league's fourth top-scorer with 16. However Ks fans might be most likely to look out for our cult hero Ricky Sappleton, now plying his trade for Haringey.
Crowd: Haringey's promotion hunt, along with a televised FA Cup game where they narrowly lost to AFC Wimbledon, has really bolstered their crowds since the start of the season. Expect a turnout of at least 400 and the fans they brought to the game in Tolworth were certainly noisy.
Drinking: There are four pubs to choose from around Wood Green tube station. You might want to make sure you can zip up any colours in case that's an issue on the day of a Spurs game.
Food: Again, the area around Wood Green will give you your widest selection, with various fast food options, as there doesn't seem to be much on the walk to the ground along White Hart Lane.
