K’s Win First Pre-Season Outing
Kingstonian's first pre-season friendly ended with a 3-0 win over Walton Casuals at the Xcel Leisure Centre.
K's began the 2014-15 pre-season at the Xcel Leisure Centre, just outside Walton Casuals' ground, with a game of three thirty-minute periods against the Stags.
The opening third remained goalless, before Andre McCollin saw a penalty saved in the opening seconds of the second stanza.
Soon after the penalty save, Nathaniel Pinney scored the first of his two goals, the shot squeezing between the legs of the unfortunate Walton Casuals goalkeeper, and as more and more substitutions were made, Tommy Williams' side clinched the game with two goals in quick succession at the beginning of the third period, Pinney scoring his second and McCollin notching the Kingstonian third.
