Hammond Hits Top Gear in Final

A brace of goals from Elvis Hammond helped K's to their third consecutive Geoff Harvey Memorial Vase Final victory.

Dan Bennett scored the opening goal in the fifteenth minute with a classy left foot shot passed past the goalkeeper before Elvis Hammond notched his first pre-season goal with nine minutes left in the half. The second half saw fewer substitutions than normal but nevertheless was a comparative cruise, with Hammond sealing the deal sixteen minutes after the break.

K's now move on to a Ground Re-Opening match at Church Road, Whyteleafe, as the Southern Counties East League Champions of last season unveil their newly refurbished ground and 3G pitch. Kick-off on Saturday 19th July is 3.00pm.
